BOOKING HAIR APPOINTMENT POLICIES:

A policy is set in place to protect both the client and the business !

Please read the following thoroughly BEFORE booking your appointment to ensure you are fully aware of each of our policies and procedures.

  • First time clients looking to book the Iamnubian Flawless illusion technique MUST check out our chart in the FAQ to select the best style for you. First time Client service even if you have had crochet braids before please check out our chart to get an understanding of what we offer .. please give us a call for  a phone consultation before booking …. This includes a consultation and time to get to know you and your hair journey better.
  • All Styles require a Non-refundable Deposit. Only Two reschedule is permitted per booking which your deposit may be moved to the new appointment must give us 5 days notice so were able to fill in the slot. Appointment must be made within the month or deposit will be forfeited.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your appointment YOU WILL FORFEIT THE DEPOSIT.
  • MISSED APPOINTMENT FEE IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO GIVE A 24 HRS NOTICE I WILL BE CHARGING YOU HALF OF YOUR MISSED APPOINTMENTS PRICE BEFORE BOOKING YOU AGAIN. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE TRUE EMERGENCY SITUATIONS THAT ARE OUT OF CONTROL.
  • No call-No-Show Appointments to book a new appointment  you must pay 50% of the service, second no call no show must pay full service fee in advance third no call no show NO NEW APPOINTMENT.
  • Late Cancellations and No Show appointments due to A GRAVE EMERGENCY  will be allowed to reschedule with original deposit with the stylist’s discretion. Rescheduled appointment must be made within the 30 days calendar Booking.
  • Final payment for appointment is taken via Cash only.
  • Paypal payments are accepted with a 5% additional processing fee.
  • Please give yourself adequate travel to arrive on time for your appointment.
  • A 15 Minute grace period is given for each appointment. After the grace period, your appointment may be subject to a $10 and up late fee.
  • After 25 minutes late, the late fee will be assessed. the late fee will go towards the following client service  and you may need to downgrade to a 2 part install flawless illusion crochet. For all other services, style may need to be adjusted  to fit in the appointed time frame at the stylist’s discretion.
  • It is at the stylists discretion to reschedule any late appointments after the 25 minute mark.
  • we are  home based business we asked that all clients  are to arrive with hair washed, conditioned, detangled and blown out properly. If you are a natural sister and have thicker hair, please be sure to pay attention to your scalp making sure that it is fully cleansed and also extra attention to detangling hair and having it READY TO BRAID.
  • For the flawless Illusion crochet- relaxed hair must be at least 4 weeks old
    • Hair must NOT be freshly dyed – at least 2 weeks old
    • Hair must be AT LEAST 4 inches all round for install to last
  • If you are tender headed it may be beneficial to lightly press hair before appointment. The more tangled the hair is the more it may be uncomfortable as it takes the braider more work to braid hair, also resulting in it feeling tighter.
  • Hair that is still unclean, WILL NOT BE SERVICED ..
  • If arrived with hair wet a $10 FEE will be added to your appointment ….
  • First time clients that are new to the flawless illusion method and also new to crochet styling, please keep in mind that it is YOUR responsibility to do your research on the style booking. For more information on our style of crochet please check out our FAQ page.
  • Clients that have any scalp irritations or issues please be sure to make note of that when booking. A consultation may need to be made prior to appointment to ensure we are giving you the best service possible according to your needs.
  • When booking please don’t forget to read the descriptions for the style selected.

SHOP & SHIPPING POLICES

COVID-19 Shipping Policy – Effective March 2020

Our handmade Products are in high in demand. All orders will be shipped in 16 business days. All orders will receive a tracking number via email (check spam or junk mail just in case). Business hours are Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm EST. Weekends are closed.

RETURNED PACKAGES

If your package is returned to us for any reason you will be issued a refund not including the shipping cost.

INCORRECT ADDRESS 

If you input an incorrect address at checkout your order will be canceled and refunded.

RETURN POLICY

All orders placed are final sale. We do not process any returns/exchanges. There are no refunds or cancellations once the order has been processed and fulfilled. Should you have any issues with your order, anything missing from your order or incorrect product, please contact customer service via Inquiries@iamnubian.nyc

Please allow 24-48 business hours from the date your email is sent, to be reviewed and responded to. Should your inquiry require more investigation attention or processing, please allow 48 more business hours to review and respond.

SHIPPING POLICY

All shipping rates will vary depending on a few different factors, some of which include:

* Domestic vs International shipments

* Selected shipping method

We are not responsible for any fees required by customs for any reason. All shipping fees we require will be clearly shown to you alongside the service and estimated transit time upon checkout.

Should any refunds or store credits be issued at any time, under any circumstances, shipping cost are not included.

Our hours of operation for shipping are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, excluding weekends.

*NOTE: during restocks, new releases & special promotions, there can be an additional 2-4 business days of processing time!

Transit times will vary based upon a few different conditions, including but not limited to:

* Total distance between us and you

* Whether your parcel is a domestic (USA) or international (everywhere else) shipment

* Post office closure or emergent circumstances

Please note that this time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee.

Any inquiries regarding the exact location of your package should be made to the carrier directly.We only have as much information as can be seen by you through your tracking number.

Tracking your packages 📦 :

Please allow between 1-2 Business Days for your tracking number to update once you receive your tracking number by email.

LOST or STOLEN PACKAGES:

If your package has been confirmed via USPS delivered and you did not receive please contact www.USPS.com

Once you file a claim with UPS or USPS the driver on your route will investigate to ensure it was not accidentally delivered to the wrong address which is the case majority of the time.

If you decide to file a claim through Paypal your tracking number is automatically uploaded which will state that your package was indeed delivered. The only time that we will issue a store credit is when tracking confirms that the package was lost DURING TRANSIT (minus shipping cost) and not for any packages that states DELIVERED in mailbox/porch/reception etc.

If your package is returned to sender due to an insufficient address or any reason at all, you will be issued a store credit (minus shipping costs) once it is confirmed that IAMNUBIAN has received the product.
